Vintage Moroccan Rug 5'x9' Wool Rogue Two

Approximately 20-30 years old, this Berber carpet would have originally been made by a Berber woman belonging to the Beni Mahtir tribe for personal use in her own home. 

This vintage rug was made by a woman of a Berber tribe in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

She created this Moroccan carpet with wool and small portions of cotton thread, and permitted herself personal freedom in expressing her own creativity and values through North African symbology and colors as she wove these designs.

This Moroccan rug is one of a kind, and can be used as a rug or wall hanging. 

The unique lines throughout the pattern make this a dream for layering with a jute rug and using in your living room or dining room.

The medium pile makes this vintage carpet extremely versatile. It can be used in rooms that get a lot of use, like living rooms and dens, but it can also bring together a cozy room.
